On Tuesday we did athletics day. The athletics team went to margaret griffen park when we got there we seated the markie and the fale mat.

The first  team was juzaiah,soni and kardius. They all did good. After them it was me and  Ezekiel  for a shot put Ezkeil went first. He threw the ball so far that I thought he was gonna come first.

It was my turn to throw. I threw  the ball. It was so far that everyone was cheering for us but we came forth.

Next uo was running  for the girls  pia was in it with manu. Pia ran first  clap! Pia ran so fast  that she came first.

It was manu turn she run as fast as she could but she came last.  Next was discus. me  and Caleb went up. I threw it into the sky and it went so far.

Caleb was up next he threw it  so far he came third place

The last one was a relay. I did’nt make it into the relay. I had to go home early so I changed and said bye to my friends.When I got home I had a nice nap.

On  Maori  language  week we did an Amazing race. We had to go in to our film festival group and choose 3 takahe. We went to the first clue it was a hard clue but we got the first clue. We went to our second clue it was easy but the third one was extremely hard. It took forever to get this clue then we got the clue we went to our fourth clue it was easy. We got the clue now we had to go to our fifth clue it was easy so we got the clue then we went to our sixth clue it was hard but we still made it we got the clue. Then time was up and we had to go to the courts. We came  second place and Puketepapa came first place. My favorite clue was the third one because it was challenging and we learned how to put the Maori letters in the right place.

Zoom! The lighting flashed.  I saw a doorway that had a tree on it and bushes. I wanted to open the door. The door was making weird noises when I opened it. I saw another door that had a message written on it and it said find the key. Inside I saw a closet, I slid it open and I saw a lighter. I turned on the lighter then I found the key.

I opened the next door and then I saw a random person. ¨I am the King from this forest¨ I asked the king his name and his name was Siale. He asked me my name and I said James Carter. I was stuck inside the forest and I was so scared that I almost ran away. I saw another person whose name was DAGI , he was an evil person who  wanted to rule the world. I said ¨don’t rule the world.¨  Dagi said WHAT ARE GONNA DO and the forest king gave me a special power.

My special power was so cool that I could turn into a 3 headed dog, all I had to say is abra cadabra. BOOM! I was so big like the sky tower in New Zealand .The  king told me to defeat Dagi to open the final door.

I used the strongest attack power. I said ¨time to die Dagi.¨  I DEFEATED Dagi and then the door opened.  It was so snow,y my mum was so happy I came back. When I came back I had to go to the hospital to check my scratches and scars that I had all over my body.

I saw someone screaming on top of the roof like a baby.

I smelt the hot burning fire inside my mask.

I tasted the smoke coming into my nose.

I heard the brick falling like rain drops.

I felt the pressure of the hose.

My three heroes are a policeman,Mr Reddy and a firefighter.

I chose a policeman because they are helpful. Because they always help people. Policemen help people when they are hurt and help them get back up.

My second hero is Mr Reddy. He is hard working and smart. He helps in the planning of our new building. Mr. Reddy had a meeting with the builders.

My third hero is a firefighter because they are brave,strong and caring. I chose a firefighter because they always put out fires and save peoples lives when there is a fire inside a house.

THEY ALWAYS ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN THERE A EMERGENCY.
